South O' The Border: (Il)logical Progression

The Bag points out an ugly progression.
So far, my tin foilish friends, many of the way out and far fetched theories and predictions have been born out.
What will be the extent of the coming cultural war if Obama wins? What will the soulless neocons and their useful idiots cook up?
- The Hate Radio guys are pulling all the stops - calling Obama a communist, raising The Fairness Doctrine again, using race. They're actually saying (paraphrasing) that they'll be off the air in a year if their audience doesn't get out there and do something about it. Such blatant "throes" I've never witnessed.
My neighbor knocked on my door to thank me for the Obama/Biden signs in my front yard. She said she didn't "have the guts" (exact quote) to put one up.
What if he loses?

in The Authoritarians says that the way that the RWA personality type can change is through experience. Am I being totally dumb in hoping that after a few years of an Obama presidency, when the bloated addict still has a radio job and armies of Big Scary Black Men are not roaming the streets looking for white wimmin to rape and white men to capture for slavery, maybe some of the racists will get a clue?
As for what if he loses. Let's not go there.
McCain/Palin - Unstable/Unable
Maybe I read a bit too much Neiwert
But I'm a bit worried that the eliminationist rhetoric will only grow stronger. While far right-wing terrorists will be unlikely to approach Obama, their largely impotent rage will instead focus on people who aren't defended 24/7.
That is a definite possibility
And that is exactly what I worry about. Obama will have the best protection available. Not so for the average person. Send positive thoughts, please. They're going to need it.
