Up yer Inflation rate! Interactive map.

The CBC has another one of their intercative maps up of Canada, this one will show you how much the inflation rate has gone up, in your part of the country.

 

Of course here in BC, guess what? Sheesh. Booming economy? (Neocon heaven!) and we are taking it up the....So stuff costs more, but we arent making anymore than we did so we are making less. Does that sound about right?

So friggin stupid.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan topping the charts at 3.9. It's the housing market. Average house price in Saskatoon in July from CBC, again - $245,152.00 ( That likely sounds good to some people ). How about this - year to year % change -- 53.7 %.

Less than half of the

average price in BC's Lower Mainland.

Everything's cheaper than it looks.

Prices have always...

...been high out there. I was surprised to see that Saskatoon is in the same ballpark as Ottawa and Montreal. And Regina's price is substantially lower.

Totally out of left field here - You know it is starting to bother even myself that I start so many sentences with and.
