There is an organization that definitely doesn't get enough attention....!

They call it "My Canada", run by the MY CANADA ASSOCIATION. Find more here at Benediction blogs on. They sponsored "The Cry".......OY.

The Cry is a neo-charismatic New Apostolic Reformation extension of the US ‘The Call.’ This year Canadian promoters aren’t trying to hide their ties with their polically hyper religious right southern counterpart, they are flaunting their association (couched in lovely religious language) with Lou Engle. No Christian parent in their right mind is going to let their child go to hear militarized theocrats. This is dominionism, hyper-experiential new age ~~goobleygook~~ biblically illiterate, radical manipulation. There is agenda and no amount of softening the message for Canadian ears is going to change hard core reality.

Their Canada is a homophobic, anti women, anti choice place where prayer and rhetoric trump common sense.

The URL domain is "4myCanada.ca", I have been guilty of using chat lingo at times when I am trying to type really fast. (I always say I type like tarzan.) The whole site is written in this manner, these "youth" are trying to hook into some kind of message that it is coooooooooooooooool to be a hateful moronic piece of sludge.

It comes off looking like the Fraser Institute of asshattery trying to be "cool" and HIP about global climate change denial.

And it isn't cool to infringe on everyone else who doesn't share their fundamentalist world view.

Such loving "Christian" messages to be found within!

See, that is the crux of the matter. They do not care about anything but converting the rest to their bizarre set of "values". It is not at all about respect. DOMINATION.

It is their way, or the highway, which sounds a lot like the PM, who like that 36% that voted for him, think they have some sort of moral mandate over the 66% who didn't vote for them.

At one time "4 My Canada" had a list of MP's on the site who they considered freindly to their message of totalitarianism and hatred.

They didn't even want anyone linking directly to it and have some up with thier own set of rulez regarding the INTERNETS.You have to read what is in their Hearts.......(<3's) or some such nonsense.

It doesn't show up on the old link at least on thier live site.

NOVEMBER 2009

COME TO PARLIAMENT WITH US THIS NOVEMBER FOR THE 8TH JOSIAH TEAM AND MY CANADA NATIONAL RECEPTION
We will be taking a team to Parliament again this fall to meet with MPs/Senators to honour them and share our hearts with them on the issues we care about. We are going to be able to accept 20 young adults between the age of 15 and 30. We are still pulling the details together and waiting to see if there will be a fall election or not (this will determine when the dates of this trip will be).
