Climate clash rekindles separatist grumblings in Alberta
I wouldn't mind seeing Alberta seperate from Canada. In fact, if I could, I'd round up all the Albertan seperatists, and give them an iceburg, which they can then call New Alberta. It'd hopefully make its way at least as far as California, where they can disembark, and perhaps find their paradise, whatever the hell it is.
Stelmach is a weinie. Seriously. He's presiding over the world's worst environmental diseaster, which is known as the tar-sands, and he's complaining about being piled on by Ontario and Quebec, because they don't want anything to do with the tar sands? Wimp.
They should go galt themselves. LOL

I'm all for trial separation
I think any province or state who wants to separate should be allowed to on a trial basis - say, 5 years. I bet it would take less than 2 for their sorry asses to come crawling back to the federal union. And I'd laugh and laugh...

I don't remember hearing that any other province was included in Dick Cheney's Secret Energy Plan for North America. Just Alberta. They can't keep following secrets or that Wild Rose party will eat them alive.
The lady leader said "Alberta never votes for the Opposition. They always vote for the "new party."" That would be the guys without a voting record. More secret miracle workers is just what they need. Harper is sure to insult a woman in charge of anything.
