The destruction is past.
Happy happy everyone.
Hope y'all got something good.
Although we did not do remotely the amount of gifts that the avg family in Canada does, we still had some offerings under the tree. I had to look and see what is the average:
But Prairie folk are decidedly more Scrooge-like in their holiday shopping budget than other Canadians, said the inaugural RBC Canadian consumer outlook report. On average, Saskatchewanians and Manitobans expect to spend $880 on holiday purchases, including gifts, decorations and entertaining, compared to the national average of $1,218.
Ok I do feel smug then.
The wrapping is all cleaned up.
But then the Christmas Raccoons were back last night, cause trash day was......yesterday, so of course it never happened. I hope the boyz had a good time, they left a hell of a mess. Little buggers.
And I ate way too much yesterday. HAH! Who cares.
Onto new years so we can wave this horrible year and questionable decade goodbye.
Compiling the year end list here at ACR. Do I really want to look back at this embarrassing year of Harpercritism?

merry christmas
(I can say that now since Moore (journalist trying to prove christmas belong to christians actually proved the opposite)
Mine was really low key as well. I like it that way. Couple of family get-togethers.
Cooked a turducken for the first time from scratch. Delicious, really, really bad for your health, and such a pain to make I pack it off to those once in a life time experiences of did it, check off the list.
ps - harper is a major asshole and has to go.
Turducken...
Yup. Sounds unhealthy is right!
That is brave that you tried it though.....LOL. Very.
I did puff pastry once, and I feel the same way about as you do turducken. :)
Glad you had a good holiday. We just got back from the boxing day sales, and we gots 50% off CHOCOLATE! MMMMMM.
It's a fact: 100% of all the people who ate carrots in 1850, are dead.
Turducken
What was the hardest part, getting the inner birds stuffed in there? It sounds like a delicious carnival of fowl.
I hope your holiday was great, and here's to a happy, healthy 2010!
