The Right Wing Fringe.

OHHHH, I made this scaaaaaaarrrrry (Channel Count Floyd on this one eh?) video a while back...The Right wing fringe. Some said it is over the top. Despite the fact that it is factual. Despite the fact that the evidence is provided.

Dunno if it's the music? Or the pictures of all the Harper Conservatives? The clip of Harper at an anti Gay marriage rally?

For whatever reason it always comes back to the idea that apparently bringing up the religious agenda of the Harper Conservatives is just rude. RUDE. Now Jason Kenney's actions show that in that Militarized Immigration booklet a couple items got left out. On purpose. After he was asked to put them back even. Gay rights, and equal rights for Women. The Harper Conservatives do not want those facts in literature that is supposed to greet new immigrants to this country.  And they LIE and/or obfuscate....

And last year, Mr. Kenney appointed a longtime Conservative who opposes same-sex marriage to the Immigration and Refugee Board, which among other things makes decisions about whether gays can be given refugee status in Canada.

When the new guide was released Nov. 12, Mr. Kenney brushed off a reporter's question about why it lacked any reference to same-sex marriage.

Odd that eh? Tolerance and equality, Canadian values, are not to be advertised. Military stuff, is. 

See, my idea of rude is forcing an ideology on people and not giving them choices and freedom. I also think it is very rude to shove ones religion down the throats of others using sneaky underhanded back doors and removing rights by lies and deceit. 

And revising history by studiously and intentionally leaving out the facts? Well that is what petty dictators and ideologues do around the world.  

The Harper Conservatives are Homophobes, bigots, mysoginists and revisionists. And, they are trying to turn Canada into a mean selfish place with a war monger mentality. In a couple years we can be as far down the rabbit hole as the US was after 8 years of Bush..... Now would be a good time to just face it, and deal with it and squash it.  No?
And it also a good time to point out that I am referring to fundamentalists and not all Christians.

And a good time to point out that the Harper Fundies are kissin' cousins to the very same thing they say they hate and fear.

Maybe its the competition they hate?
