Because of reports like on last nights Fifth Estate?

Video evidence, interviews.... and an appearance by Chief Bully Blair who had every opportunity to respond and spin......
To defend the indefensible.
And he totally came off looking like what he is. An authoritarian follower.
And that, is not a compliment.
What we finally got to see, unvarnished.....
The cops letting a few twits trash the city, and their exact location where they stood with their thumbs in their noses.
And then the ensuing crackdown and abuses of Canadian citizens.
Yes. We do get the message.....

They like Conservative Authoritarian types, because they do just that. They swallow whatever they are told, and they do not ask questions.

I wish that the CBC had mentioned that what happened at the G20 is very close to what has happened elsewhere......The Miami Model. There was a lot more that happened BEFORE the G20 to set the scene.
But they only had an hour, and this story needs to be fleshed out.

Caught the show last night, too, pale. Good stuff.
It continues to puzzle me that with stuff like this, bev oda's lying to Parliament, and the inability for this government to get Canadian citizens out of harm's way in numerous "hot spots" around the globe, they are still in power.
In fact, some polls show them actually gaining in popularity!
Back in the '80s they referred to ronnie raygun as the "Teflon President" - Apparently we have the "Teflon Tories" up here north of the 49th.
