Happy May Day

The Occupy movement is busy all over the world today.

Standing up for your rights and the rights of all those that will come after, even if you think they are a bunch of socialist pinko commies for doing so.

Odd isn't it? Our forebearers fought so hard for living wages, better working hours and an end to child labour. They created a time in the 20th century which for so many was so lucrative. We had a fairly good standard of living, a thriving middle class, and were moving forward.  Poverty was something we talked about wiping out, now the Government wants to sink us further into it. In fact many of the public support that very thing.

We move back.

Back back back.

Happy May day.

My admiration to the Occupiers, and to those that came before.

I would say shame to those that vote and rail against their own best interests, but it seems they have none.

Solidarity.

It's rather depressing

overall, but luckily there are brave individuals who take to the streets and squares, especially on this day, to remind our overlords that we are in fact that majority and deserve to share in the fruits of our labour.
