20 years - congratulations, Canada

Since immigrating here, I've gotten a crash course in reproductive liberty in Canada. So I'll bring up the rear tonight in the Blogburst, on this 20th anniversary of the Morgentaler decision.

I'm with JJ:

"I'm adamantly pro-choice for one reason: my reproductive life is nobody's goddamn business but mine. I'm totally capable of making the right decisions about it and every other aspect of my life, and believe all women are equally competent. There's no "discussion", there's no "debate", there's only "fuck off and mind your own business"."

I pretty much said what I had to say on the subject of reproductive liberty on January 22, in celebration of my home country's 35th anniversary of Roe v Wade. I've been fighting to protect my bodily autonomy since I was young, and dammit, although I'm mad that I can't give it a rest yet, I'm in it for the long haul.

To all the other Bloggers for Choice today - well said, and never back down!
